Chris holds bachelors’ degrees in Criminal Justice and Political Science as well as an associates’ degree in Law Enforcement from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock. He obtained his Juris Doctor (JD) from Saint Louis University School of Law.

Chris has a unique background and expertise in many aspects of insurance claims and risk management from over a decade in the industry. His experience has included working for carriers, third party administrators, and managing general agencies as well as an independent insurance defense investigation firm. Chris has extensive knowledge gained from handling thousands of claims in multiple states and jurisdictions in many lines of coverage including, but not limited to: commercial and personal auto, general liability, public entities, commercial and personal property, inland marine, and workers compensation. He has also drafted legislation pending the in Missouri Legislature regarding workers’ compensation.

Chris also served in law enforcement for seven years prior to moving into claims, where he investigated thousands of accidents and incidents as a patrolman, detective, SWAT Team Member, field supervisor, field training officer and statistician. He was previously certified as a Senior Blood Alcohol Testing Operator by the Arkansas Department of Health. His experience in police work includes numerous arrests, blood alcohol content and field sobriety tests and DWI trials. Chris has participated in hundreds of investigations and trials for criminal offenses.

In his personal time Chris enjoys volunteering with several local charities and spending time with his wife and five children.
